Bonking Butterflies Calendar

Insects . Photography

John Vetterlein

For those who don’t know me I am a Southampton prize-winning photographer specialising in butterflies, moths and wildflowers. I’ve been a member of SNHS for over a decade and for the last few years (except this Covid19 year) have led monthly field trips for the Society in Southampton Old Cemetery.

I’ve been threatening this calendar for many years but failed to deliver. Until now. Lockdown I used quite productively to get my act together and have produced the most wonderful calendar for 2021.

It’s a limited edition of only 300 with all profits going to Butterfly Conservation – a wonderful wildlife charity.

So, you get a brilliant calendar and Butterfly Conservation gets some dosh – can’t be bad.

Here’s the website where you can look at the photos for each month.

Bonking Butterflies

But if you want one (or several? – ideal festive season gift) just email me to reserve (rather than using the website purchase facility). Contact me directly to reserve your calendar – john.vetterlein@gmail.com

The cost for locals in Southampton is a modest £10 as I can arrange free collection/delivery. For further afield there is a £3 shipping charge.

Please feel free to forward these details on to anybody you think may also be interested.

OK, I know it’s only mid-August, but I want to get in before people start buying other (inferior?) calendars.
