Walk – Brown hares and general interest

March 25 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Farley Mount near Winchester: Brown hares and general interest

Walk distance: 1.5 miles along a good footpath, then return along the same route, giving a total of 3 miles. This is an easy route and will be walked at a slow pace to afford the best chance of seeing hares. If anyone feels unable to do the full walk they will be able to go part-way then retrace their steps on what is a straightforward linear route.

Andy has politely specified that no dogs (even on leads) are brought on this walk as the chance of seeing hares is greatly reduced in their presence.

Meet at Junction car park, Farley Mount Country Park (free parking) SU419291.
