Field Trip – Broughton Down – Wildflowers & Butterflies and Birds

Butterflies (Green Hairstreak, Peacock, Brimstone, Speckled Wood etc) and a good selection of chalk downland flowers should add to the interest. Very good views to the north if the weather is clear. Finish around 2:30pm or later if people want to linger. The reserve is a steepish climb to the top and then access to the down itself usually takes 20 mins or so thereafter.

Parking is at the end of Buckholt Road, Please ensure everyone parks well off the road as farm vehicles require access at all times.
