Field Trip – Farley Mount & Beacon Hill – Chalk Downland Flora & Butterflies

Farley Mount & Beacon Hill – Chalk Downland Flora & Butterflies

There should be a good selection of flora in flower and butterflies on the wing along with associated birdlife. With its spectacular views of the Hampshire landscape we will be concentrating on the western end of this large area of chalk downland taking in Beacon Hill.

We plan also to take time to visit the famous monument on route.

The walk is approx 3.5 miles, so please bring a lunch and refreshments
